Abstract
Beginning in the late 80’s of the last century, European efforts on validation of CFD codes were initiated by the European Commission programme Brite-EURAM. Since then a number of collaborative programmes have been carried out indicating the importance of flow-physics modelling in aerodynamic predictions.
