Primary Scientific Research Orientations in Terms of Oil and Gas Resources by Chinese Academy of Sciences

Abstract

“Based on exploration and development of domestic oil and gas resources; properly importing oil and gas in accordance with market rules; and making efforts to build energy-saving society and to positively develop renewable clean energy resources” is the strategic principles for oil and gas energy we must adhere to in the coming decades, and it’s also the overall agenda to guide the development of oil and gas resources scientific technology. In the process of enhancing the science and technology of Chinese oil and gas resources exploration and development to achieving and maintaining foreign advanced level, Chinese Academy of Sciences should and is capable of making important contributions with its own characteristics and strengths. Analyzing from system, field configuration, research accumulation and other aspects of Chinese Academy of Sciences currently, it should focus on efforts in the following aspects to form a superior force in the next 15 years.
