Abstract

This paper presents a context-aware infrastructure for building and managing mobile agent-based content on digital signage. These are digital representations of people or physical entities and they can define and provide multimedia content for advertising or user-assistant services for users. The infrastructure spatially binds the positions of people or objects with the locations of their virtual counterparts and, when they move or are transported in the physical world, it automatically deploys their agents at computers near their current positions to provide ambient media.
