Zusammenfassung

Wirbelsäulenprobleme bei Kindern haben das Potenzial zu erheblichen Deformitäten während des weiteren Wachstumsverlaufes und müssen dementsprechend äußerst ernst genommen werden. Rückenschmerzen bei Kindern sind ungewöhnlich und haben häufig eine spezifische Erkrankung als Ursache. Leichte Rumpfasymmetrien dagegen werden häufig in den ersten Wachstumsjahren diagnostiziert, haben aber meist keine Konsequenzen im weiteren Wachstumsverlauf, sofern Progredienzen ausgeschlossen werden können.
