Abstract

Throughout the history of mankind, its thinkers have speculated that, within the sperm or egg, there exists a “draft” which ensures the development of a frog from a frog egg and a human beeing as an offspring of humans. It may have been Erwin Schrodinger who first coined the term “code” in the context of heredity in his extremely influential book “What is life?”
