Zusammenfassung
Harninkontinenz ist das herausragende Leitsymptom einer neurogen gestörten Blasenfunktion. Wegen der sozialen Problematik einer Harninkontinenz ist eine Behandlung auch dann erforderlich, wenn die Ursache nicht geklärt oder nicht therapiert werden kann. Grundsätzlich kann jede Schädigung der nervalen Steuerung der Blase vom ZNS bis zur Peripherie zu einer Blasenfunktionsstörung führen. ◘ Übersicht 27.1 zeigt, bei wie vielen neurologischen Erkrankungen die Harninkontinenz ein Symptom sein kann.
