Zusammenfassung

Transfusionsreaktionen können nach verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten klassifiziert werden: Es könnten etwa unter Berücksichtigung des zeitlichen Ablaufs Sofortreaktionen von verzögerten Transfusionsreaktionen abgegrenzt werden. Der Einfachheit einer solchen Klassifikation stünde als Nachteil gegenüber, dass sehr heterogene Reaktionen zusammengefasst und ätiologisch eng verwandte Reaktionen getrennt werden müßten. Eine Klassifikation kann aber auch aus der zugrundeliegenden Ätiologie abgeleitet werden, dabei könnten immunologisch induzierte Transfusionsreaktionen von anderen Transfusionswirkungen unterschieden werden.

Die Beschreibung der Transfusionsreaktionen in diesem Kapitel teilt Transfusionsreaktionen daher anhand der beobachteten Symptome ein und berücksichtigt ätiologische Gesichtpunkte, soweit unsere heutigen Kenntnisse dies erlauben (Tab. 37.1). In der Darstellung dieses Kapitels, dessen Gliederung der Klassifikation einer internationalen Arbeitsgruppe des European Hemovigilance Network folgt [32], werden diejenigen Bezeichnungen für einzelne Reaktionen und Erkrankungen verwendet, die sich auch in der internationalen Literatur eingebürgert haben.
