Zusamenfassung

Das wichtigste bildgebende Verfahren in der Mammadiagnostik ist die Mammographie, sei es zur Früherkennung von Mammakarzinomen, zur Differenzierung benigner und maligner Läsionen, zum präoperativen Staging oder im Rahmen der Nachsorge. Andere Verfahren wie Ultraschall, MR-Mammographie, Galaktographie oder transkutane Biopsie kommen additiv zum Einsatz. Das PETCT ist Gegenstand klinischer Forschung im Rahmen des Stagings von Mammakarzinomen. Alle übrigen Verfahren spielen in der klinischen Routine keine Rolle.
