Abstract
New methodologies for X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurements, such as Quick XAFS and Dispersive XAFS, are reviewed. These techniques are applied to observe the dynamic structural change of Pd, i.e., clustering and dispersion, which are caused by the strong interaction with acid sites of zeolites of ZSM-5, mordenite, H-Y, and USY.
