Zusammenfassung
Maintenance Management dient dem Zweck, die Aufrechterhaltung der Lufttüchtigkeit während des Betriebs eines Luftfahrzeugs sicherzustellen. Dazu sind einerseits grundlegende Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen vor erstmaligem Betrieb festzulegen und andererseits ist deren spätere Umsetzung zu überwachen. Zugleich muss im Rahmen des Maintenance Managements die frühzeitige Identifizierung von Tatbeständen, die die Lufttüchtigkeit gefährden können, sichergestellt werden.
