Abstract
There could be many reasons as to why you are giving a particular lecture. So, first and foremost, be sure to talk about the right topic to the right audience. Although this seems very obvious, it is not always given proper consideration. Always try to ascertain the interests of your audience as well as their level of medical knowledge. Optimal communication circumstances are essential to be able to bring your message to your audience. Presentation aids like computers, beamers, software programs and audio are essential to every medical presenter. The many things that can and will go wrong, and how to prevent these catastrophes, are discussed. Also the lecture room needs to be optimal for you to give the right speech to the right audience.
