Zusamenfassung

Die korrekte Diagnose des hepatozellulären Carzinoms in der zirrhotischen Leber bleibt eine Herausforderung für alle bildgebenden Verfahren. Die European (EASL) und American (AASLD) Association for the Study of Liver Diseases geben Algorithmen für das Management des HCC bei Patienten mit Zirrhose an die Hand. Im Zuge des wachsenden gesundheitsökonomischen Drucks allerdings stellt sich auch die Frage nach möglichst kosteneffizienter Diagnostik.
