Zusamenfassung

In einer randomisierten Doppelblindstudie wurden 1392 Patienten mit nicht-untersuchter GERD für 4 Wochen täglich mit Rabeprazol 20 mg oder Esomeprazol 20 mg oder Esomeprazol 40 mg behandelt. Ca. 60% der Patienten waren nach 4 Wochen komplett beschwerdefrei. Eine zufriedenstellende Symptomkontrolle wurde in 86–90% der Patienten erreicht. Zwischen den 3 Behandlungsgruppen gab es keine signifikanten Unterschiede.
