Zusammenfassung

Die Sonografie spielt in der Diagnostik von Nebennierenpathologien beim Erwachsenen eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Der Hauptgrund hierfür ist die oft deutlich herabgesetzte Einsehbarkeit der Nebennierenloge. Demgegenüber werden jedoch oftmals gerade größere Nebennierenläsionen inzidenziell bei Sonografien des Abdomens oder der Nieren entdeckt, die dann mit anderen bildgebenden Verfahren weiter abgeklärt werden.
