Zusammenfassung

Mit der Protektion nervaler Strukturen bei beckenchirurgischen Eingriffen konnten neue Operationstechniken etabliert werden, die zum verbesserten Funktionserhalt für Miktion, Kontinenz und Erektion im postoperativen Outcome geführt haben. Beispiele hierfür sind die nervprotektive radikale Prostatektomie [1–3] und die Zystektomie (Kontinenz, Potenz) [3, 4], die Antirefluxplastik mit Protektion des Plexus pelvicus (Blasenfunktion) [5], die radikale Hysterektomie in der Technik der totalen mesometrialen Resektion (Blasenfunktion) [6] und die nervprotektive Rektumresektion (Kontinenz, Blasenfunktion, Erektion) [7].
