Abstract

Modern all-optical networks that employ all-optical switches and optical add-drop multiplexers (OADMs) provide a tremendous high speed of several tens of Tera-bits per second. Such networks are challenging with many issues that have to be anticipated among which optical crosstalk is an important one.
