Zusammenfassung
Pleuraprozesse unklarer Genese mit exsudativem Erguss sind die wesentliche Indikation. Voraus gehen die bildgebenden Verfahren, Pleurapunktion und Biopsie. Ist die Diagnose dann noch unklar, so wird thorakoskopiert. Meist geht es um die Frage, ob ein maligner Erguss vorliegt.
