Zusammenfassung
Akut Hier steht die Aspiration von Wasser (nasses Fast-Ertrinken) oder ein reflektorischer Laryngospasmus (so genanntes trockenes Fast-Ertrinken bei 10%) im Vordergrund. Entsprechend besteht die primäre Aufgabe in der Sicherung der Vitalfunktionen (Atemwege, Beatmung, Kreislauf, Drugs etc.). Ablaufenlassen von Wasser durch Kopftieflage ist sinnlos. Wesentlich ist, möglichst rasch die Lunge zu belüften, z. B. durch Mund-zu-Mund-Beatmung.
