Zusammenfassung

Während bei misshandelten Kindern relativ häufig Verletzungen der Hals-, Nasen- und Ohrenregion sowie der Mundhöhle und der Zähne auftreten, sind thorakale und (intra-)abdominelle Verletzungen zwar relativ selten, dafür aber quoad vitam von umso größerer Bedeutung.
