Zusammenfassung

Die genaue Berechnung von Intraokularlinsen für Augen, die bereits keratorefraktiven Eingriffen unterzogen wurden, ist bekanntermaßen schwierig. Dafür gibt es zwei wesentliche Gründe:

  • Ungenaue Messung der kornealen Brechkraft durch Standardkeratometer oder auch computerisierte Videokeratographie (CVK)

  • Fehlerhafte Einschätzung der tatsächlichen (effektiven) Linsenposition (ELP), die von den meisten der entsprechenden IOL-Formeln der 3. und 4. Generation benötigt wird
