Abstract
Statistical analyses are necessary whenever decisions are to be made on the basis of probabilistic data. The conceptual framework for statistics is the assumed existence of an underlying probability space and knowledge is desired regarding the unknown probability law. Furthermore, estimates regarding the probability law are to be made on the basis of the outcome(s) of some random variable(s). This chapter is divided into several major topics. Each topic should be a chapter in itself but the intention is to simply review the material assuming a previous exposure to statistics.
