Zusammenfassung

Gastrointestinale Stromatumoren (GIST) sind die häufigsten mesenchymalen Tumoren des Gastrointestinaltrakts. Da sie histologisch Leiomyosarkomen ähneln, wurden sie lange Zeit fehldiagnostiziert (Kindblom et al. 1998).
