Zusammenfassung

Die Inzidenz der Weichgewebesarkome liegt bei etwa 3–4 pro 100000 pro Jahr (Zahm u. Fraumeni 1997). Insgesamt sind Weichgewebesarkome für < 1% aller Krebserkrankungen im Erwachsenenalter und etwa 7% der Krebserkrankungen im Kindesalter verantwortlich.
