Zusammenfassung
Weichgewebesarkome im Extremitätenbereich sind auf Grund ihrer Größe und anatomischen Lage oft schwierig zu behandeln. Dies gilt insbesondere, wenn eine R0-Resektion fraglich oder nur durch einen extrem mutilierenden chirurgischen Eingriff (Amputation) zu erzielen ist. In einer solchen Situation ist eine präoperative multimodale Therapie indiziert, da auch durch eine Amputation in der Regel keine Verbesserung der Gesamtprognose erreicht werden kann (Stojadinovic et al. 2001). Vor allem bei nicht unmittelbar proximal lokalisierten Extremitätensarkomen besitzt die isolierte Extremitätenperfusion neben der präoperativen Bestrahlung einen wichtigen Stellenwert.
