Zusammenfassung
Seit Erstellung der letzten Leitlinien vor 10 Jahren [27] haben sich bei der Diagnoseerstellung und insbesondere der Therapie arteriosklerotischer Erkrankungen der aorto-biiliakalen Achse deutliche Veränderungen und bezüglich der Therapie nahezu ein Paradigmenwechsel ergeben [8, 34]. Dieser ist bis in die aktuelle Zeit nicht abgeschlossen, sondern unterliegt einer anhaltenden Dynamik mit dem Ziel, die Invasivität zu reduzieren, ohne die klinische Effektivität zu vermindern bei erhaltener Langfristigkeit des Therapieerfolges.
