Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel gibt eine umfassende Darstellung der nichtneoplastischen und neoplastischen Erkrankungen der Hypophyse. Die Tumoren werden auf der Basis der WHO-Klassifikation vorgestellt und hinsichtlich ihrer Biologie und Morphologie charakterisiert. Dabei kommen auch die seltenen und ungewöhnlichen Tumoren zur Sprache. Eine umfangreiche Bebilderungen begleitet die morphologische Darstellung der Tumoren.
