Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Einführung zur makro- und mikroskopischen Anatomie werden Fehlbildungen, Entzündungen und Infektionen besprochen (u. a. Humanes Papillomavirus, Herpes-simplex-Virus, Chlamydien, Syphilis und Parasitosen). Bei den tumorartigen Läsionen wird besonders auf Metaplasien und Hyperplasien eingegangen. Außerdem werden strahlen- und schwangerschaftsbedingte Veränderungen erörtert. Im Mittelpunkt steht das Zervixkarzinom mit seinen Vorstadien sowie diagnostischen molekularen Markern und Prognosefaktoren.
