Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel behandelt im ersten Teil die Anatomie und die Embryologie des Pankreas. Mit Hilfe anatomischer Schemata und histologischer Abbildungen wird die morphologische Organisation des Parenchyms und dessen funktionelle Bedeutung deutlich gemacht. Ein zweiter Abschnitt des Kapitels führt in die bioptische und postoperative Diagnostik der Pankreaserkrankungen ein. Insbesondere wird auf die morphologischen Methoden und Möglichkeiten zur adäquaten Darstellung der Tumorbefunde in reseziertem Pankreasgewebe eingegangen.
