Abstract

Laryngeal tumors are extremely rare in children and adolescent, thus extensive experience with laryngeal neoplasms under the age of 18 years is very limited, even in major head and neck cancer centers. Dyspnoea, dysphonia, hoarseness, and dysphagia are symptoms which shall lead to a suspicion of laryngeal mass: in these cases flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopic examination is mandatory.
