Abstract
Saliva samples from 44 narcotic users were tested by the Surface-Enhanced-Raman-Spectroscopy (SERS) system and compared with saliva samples from 52 non-narcotic users. The result showed specific characteristics at 1030cm-1 in the Raman spectra of saliva samples from narcotic users and they can be effectively distinguished.
