Zusammenfassung

Gruppen spielen bei der Behandlung von Essstörungen in den unterschiedlichsten Formen und Kontexten eine Rolle: als Selbsthilfegruppen, als Angehörigengruppen, als stationäre Entspannungs-, Ess-, Gestaltungs- und Körpertherapiegruppen oder als ambulante Psychotherapiegruppen. Sie werden von niedergelassenen Psychotherapeuten, Mitarbeitern von Beratungsstellen, Pflegekräften, Ökotrophologen, Spezialtherapeuten oder Sozialarbeitern angeboten. Das folgende Kapitel kann dieser Vielfalt nicht wirklich gerecht werden. Es wird sich deshalb auf gruppentherapeutische Ansätze konzentrieren, welche als primäres Behandlungsverfahren, ggf. in Kombination mit anderen Therapien, gedacht sind.
