European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) – Experiences and Prospects

Abstract

On 9 May 2008 approximately 60 scientists from different fields and administrative experts met at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological and Regional Development Dresden to discuss the level of implementation of an EU regulation issued in 2006 concerning the establishment of so-called European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC).1 Aspects of adjective and substantive law concerning the implementation at the Member States’ level were discussed during the event.
