Abstract
Allow me to start by sincerely thanking the Universities of Munich and Berlin-Humboldt, and the co-sponsors, for having invited me to attend this colloquium on the occasion of the ILC’s 60th Anniversary. I very much appreciate their kind hospitality and am indeed very pleased to be back in Munich.
I would also like to congratulate Dr. Matz-Lück for her lucid presentation on the relations between the international law of shared or transboundary natural resources and the maintenance of peace.
