Planes: Case (ii)
Case (ii), Table 16.1 refers to correct x, y-coordinates and erroneous however repeatedly measured z-values. As now the empirical variances of the z–s are directly accessible, the scattering of the random errors may vary from z-coordinate to z-coordinate. At the same time varying unknown systematic errors are admitted.
