Zusammenfassung

Definition, Stadieneinteilung, Pathogenese und mögliche Komplikationen des Hämorrhoidalleidens werden anhand makroskopischer und histologischer Beispiele eingehend dargestellt. Von den zahlreichen Differentialdiagnosen wird im gleichen Kapitel die Analthrombose mit abgehandelt, die übrigen sind Gegenstand entsprechender Unterkapitel zur Analregion, insbesondere den tumorartigen nichtneoplastischen Läsionen.
