Zusammenfassung
Nach einer kurzen Einführung in die embryologische Entwicklung, Funktion und normale Histologie des enterischen Nervensystems, werden in diesem Kapitel die Klassifikation und die einzelnen konnatalen Störungen des kolorektalen Nervensystems behandelt. Die verschiedenen Formen der Aganglionose, die Reifungsstörungen und die hypo- bzw. hyperplastischen Anomalien des kolorektalen Nervensystems werden in klinischer und pathologisch-anatomischer Hinsicht beschrieben und die für die feingewebliche Diagnostik notwendigen Methoden dargestellt. Der Text ist begleitet von zahlreichen Abbildungen, die die für jede Störung typischen lichtmikroskopischen, histochemischen und immunhistochemischen Befunde präsentieren.
