Abstract

This contribution pretends to be a retrospective look, inevitably partial and subjective, to the scientific legate that Professor José Mira has left us. Pepe Mira has been not only the alma mater of this Conference but also a maestro for many of us. This is my personal tribute and my most felt remembrance for him.
