Abstract
This paper is an attempt at analyzing the scientific trajectory of Prof. Mira. It is also an attempt at understanding how Prof. Mira’s scientific contributions arose from the different pathways of study along which he advanced during his professional lifetime.
This work was supported by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación and the European Regional Development Fund of the European Commission (FEDER)under grants TIN2006-15460-C04-01, PET2006-0406 and PET2007-0033.
