Zusammenfassung

Obwohl die Grundidee des Ubiquitous Computing, also eine umfassende Computerisierung aller Lebensbereiche, bereits seit Ende der 80er Jahre diskutiert wird, gibt es marktreife Lösungen dafür in größerem Umfang erst seit wenigen Jahren. Beispiele dafür finden sich in der Logistik (RFID in der Supply Chain) oder im Bereich der ortsbasierten Dienste (Location Based Services). Um Marktpotenziale und -entwicklungen abschätzen zu können, sollen im Folgenden die relevanten ökonomischen Faktoren Intelligenter Objekte und Intelligenter Systeme diskutiert werden.
