Zusammenfassung
Die Ankylose der Wirbelsäule sowie deren Verletzung stellt eine eigene Entität der Wirbelkörperfrakturen dar. Die Besonderheit ist die hohe Instabilität bei langen Hebelarmen; dies erfordert somit eine eigene Vorgehensweise und Indikationsstellung zur stabileren Versorgung, die im Folgenden erläutert wird. Zu den Ankylosen der Wirbelsäule zählen im Besonderen der Morbus Bechterew sowie der Morbus Forestier.
