Zusammenfassung

Unter dem Begriff Vaskulitis versteht man eine heterogene Gruppe von Erkrankungen, deren gemeinsamer Nenner in einer Entzündung und Zerstörung der Gefäßwand besteht. Die klinische Symptomatik ist dabei oft nur zum Teil Folge der Vaskulitis selber (Fieber, CRP-Anstieg, Leukozytose, BSG-Erhöhung etc.). Vielmehr ist ein wesentlicher Teil der klinischen Symptomatik durch die sekundären Organschäden bedingt. Bei der Diagnostik von Vaskulitiden muss also meist differenzialdiagnostisch zwischen einer organspezifischen Erkrankungen und einer Organmitbeteiligung bei den meist systemischen Vaskulitiden unterschieden werden. Je nach Grunderkrankung sind Gefäße unterschiedlicher Größe und Lokalisation betroffen, was zu den verschiedenen Symptomkomplexen führt.
