Zusammenfassung

Die Varikose ist eine der häufigsten Erkrankungen des Menschen. Ältere epidemiologische Studien (Basler Studie 1978) zeigten, dass bei 56% der Untersuchten Varizen nachweisbar waren, bei 12% wurde die Varikose als medizinisch bedeutsam angesehen.
