Abstract
The ultrafast dynamics of high density electron-hole plasmas in In0.2Ga0.8As/GaAs multiple quantum wells are probed in high magnetic fields by time-resolved methods. Complementary transient absorption (TA) and time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) experiments reveal complicated, Landau-level-dependent recombination dynamics. Evidence for delayed stimulated emission is observed. Correlations between the TA and TRPL indicate an intra-Landau level relaxation bottleneck.
