Abstract
Using a new technique to measure time-resolved circular dichroism in a pump-probe experiment, we study the conformational relaxation in photoexcited (R)-(+)-1,1’-Bi-2- naphthol. The dihedral angle decreases of ca 20-30° in 100 psec in Ethanol.
