The WEEE and RoHS Directives have been transformed into Austrian law by amending the existing “Abfallwirtschaftsgesetz” (referred to as “AWG”) and by enacting the “Elektroaltgeräteverordnung” (referred to as “EAG-VO”) which came into force on 13 August 2005.
