Zusammenfassung

Schlafstörungen sind nur vordergründig einfache, leicht zugängliche Symptome. Tatsächlich handelt es sich um komplexe Störungsbilder, die einer ausführlichen und sorgfältigen Diagnostik bedürfen. Schlafstörungen, insbesondere bei Älteren, besitzen häufig eine multifaktorielle Genese und bedürfen in der Regel eines interdisziplinären Ansatzes.
