Zusammenfassung

Beim Vena-cava-superior-Syndrom (VCSS ), der oberen Einflussstauung, wird durch externe Kompression oder direkte Infiltration durch den Primärtumor oder mediastinale Lymphknotenmetastasen eine Obstruktion der V. cava superior hervorgerufen.
