Maligne Lymphome des Thymus und des Mediastinums

Zusammenfassung

Das mediastinale großzellige B-Zell Lymphom ist ein primäres B-Zell Lymphom des Thymus, das von dort lokalisierten B-Lymphozytenpopulationen abgeleitet ist und sich nach genetischen, klinischen und phänotypischen Merkmalen von den nodalen DLBCL unterscheidet und im molekularen Expessionsprofil Ähnlichkeiten zum Hodgkin Lymphom aufweist. Dieses Lymphom und das seltene extranodale Marginalzonen Lymphom vom MALT Typ des Thymus werden als organotypische Lymphome in diesem Kapitel besprochen und von nodalen Lymphomen des Mediastinums differenziert. Das diagnostische Problem von Composite Lymphomen des mediastinalen großzelligen B-Zell Lymphoms und klassischen Hodgkin Lymphoms wird eingehend diskutiert.
