Summary

A numerical study was conducted to investigate shockwave and detonation structure of superdetonative mode Ram Accelerator, based on ISL’s RAMAC30 II Shot225 experiment. Govern equation is discretized by Roe’s FDS and integrated by LU-SGS implicit time integration. H2/O2/CO2 detailed chemical reaction for high pressure was considered. By computation result, shockwave structure is determined by two separation bubble. Detonation wave is sustained by second separation bubble and second separation bubble is growing by pressure difference of detonation wave.
