Die OP-Largerung des Patienten steht unter der gemeinsamen ärztlichen Verantwortung von Operateur und Anästhesist. In der Regel werden die initialen Lagerungsmaßnahmen am Patienten jedoch vom Pflegepersonal durchgeführt. Zur Absicherung des Pflegepersonals und zur Vermeidung zeitaufwendiger Korrekturen der Lagerung hat es sich bewährt, die eingriffsspezifischen Lagerungsstandards schriftlich festzulegen und im OP-Saal in einem Logbuch für alle Beteiligten zur Verfügung zu stellen.
